Our Town Feedback

   Personally, I liked the cemetery the most. I just love being around strange places. You know, the places when you just want to jump around and see something creepy staring at you. Anyways, learning about the Muzzy Chapel was interesting. I had never been back there in the Oakwood Cemetery, but I did hear about the Muzzy Chapel in advance.
   Again, I personally believe that we should change something. That something is probably learning about temperature in Math. I mean, we were learning about our town's history, and then randomly, Mr. Putman comes out with some probes! Well, it did help some of us clear out why we use Kelvin and Celsius. Strangely enough though, it was pretty fun. I guess that I just liked everything in the "Our Town" segment.

Blood Types

Well, you probably want to know what your blood type is for many reasons. One is that if you're in war, let's say, and you lose a lot of blood. What are you gonna do? Just sit there and let yourself die, or go ahead and ask a medic for your blood type. And for all those people out there, yes, I know that they put your type on your dog tag. Anyways, another reason is that if you're going to a blood drive and you say, "Yes, I'd like to donate blood, but I don't know what my type is."....... WHAT?!?!?!?! How can you say that? If you're going to donate, you need to know what your type is or you could just guess and let about 3 people get a bad illness because of your mistake. There are a few blood types. There's AB, A, B, and O. Also, there's a sub-category where you need to know if you're positive or negative. Negative people can get less types of blood, but positive are just the opposite. You really need to know your blood type for many reasons, so go to a local blood bank and test it!

Savvy Summary

   Savvy is a wonderful book about a girl named Mibs Beaumont. She and her brother (along with a couple of friends) are on an adventure to meet her father in a hospital. Her family is not known about it, but have amazing powers called savvys. Her mother is always perfect, her older brother can control electricity, her other older brother can control weather, and her grandpa can create land. Anyways, for her father, he doesn't have any. Mib's father works away from the house, in a town called Salina. There, he was in a terrible accident one day, and that's why they're all trying to get there.
   Along the way, they meet many people, one including a man named Lester, who drives them on a bus. Her relatives don't know about them leaving except the ones that did. Mibs is 13, the age that all Beaumonts get their savvy. At her birthday earlier in the book, she believes that she knows what her power is. Later on though, she finally knows what it is!
